Horse and Rider Training – Self Defense on Horseback
Have you ever wondered how Police Officers do their jobs from horse back? The operators of Horse Lords, Dave Claridge, and Ted Noel can show you how!
Dave and Ted have hundreds of hours in the saddle working special events such as; the Super Bowl and the Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, AZ, New Year’s Eve block parties, numerous special events, and working weekends on Mill Avenue in Tempe, AZ.
During those events, Dave and Ted have used the tactics that you will learn in their Trail Safety Clinic. The tactics include:
- Using your horse as a weapon
- How to avoid being pulled from your horse
- What to do if an attacked grabs your reins
- Strikes to free yourself from a would-be attacker
- How to keep an attacker from taking your gun or knife
- What to expect when you use a gun while on your horse
These are the same tactics that Dave and Ted have trained numerous Police Officers and Deputies to use during Mounted Police Academies. The skills you will transfer into your confidence as a rider. This clinic is geared towards the everyday trail rider to help remain safe and provide peace of mind while enjoying your horse and the countryside.
